Three-Way Gauge Valve

The 1/4” three-way NPT female threaded valve is used to simplify the installation of sprinkler system pressure gauges.

With the valve having the design of one inlet and two outlets, this allows for replacement of the system gauge without shutting down the water supply to the sprinkler system.

This arrangement allows an inspector to test system pressure with another gauge through the second outlet.

The second outlet is typically plugged during installation with a 1/4” NPT pipe plug.
